Types of Packing Pallet

In the packaging, the pallets are the most important logistic equipment. A pallet is a portable and rigid platform that is flat and can load easily. Types of pallets-

1- Roto molded pallets-

They are made up of using the rotational molding method. They are economical and are accessible in standard sizes and can be improved using steel frames to maximize loads bearing capacity. They are used in those industries where hygiene is given greater importance.

2- Injection molded pallets-

They are flat pallets that are accessible in standard sizes and colors. They are used to lift goods at the time of transportation and can be easily moved with the help of forklift loaders or jacks. They are made up of HDPE and are washable and recycled. Also, they are corrosion-free and durable products.

3- Black/deck board pallets-

They can be lifted from all directions. The upper deck is supported by 12 columns. There may or may not be a bottom deck. They offer to handle efficiency and are made up of metal, wood, and plastics.

4- Stringer pallets-

They are the other kinds that offer extra support over the black pallets. 2 boards running between the top and bottom deck on two opposite ends of the pallet offer extra reinforcement. But this means that stringer pallets can be lifted from 2 sides that are opened. 4-way stringer pallets are accessible where the stringer has a notch cut that allows forklifts to pick up it easily.
